    Farewell to our rather flash 3.5 roomed suite we have enjoyed for the last four nights as we head to Vancouver Island. There has been much ado about the weather we have had this week with several records being broken with the high temps. Gather it is quite unseasonal. I am just happy to see another calm, blue sky day so the sea behaves itself for us to get across it. ...

    We hopped over on the ferry to Victoria, the capital city of British Colombia and the most British place we have been as yet! Statues of the Queen and double decker busses galore. All the street names were "King George, Prince Albert etc etc." Very short update as we are heading to the airport off to San Francisco today! Yay! However, we are loving our time in Canada and will be very sad to say bye bye! ...

    ... along the beach path and ended back at Fisherman's Wharf and then Downtown Victoria. It was an awesome walk and Mom kept up with me all the way.

    At Beacon Hill Park, I noticed some art just leaning up against a fence. I thought the art looked nice so took a picture of them.     ... of fun new activities. We cooked a turkey for Christmas day, sang Christmas songs and enjoyed our very first white christmas.

    - Victoria has christmas parades, Christmas markets with free apple cider, The Empress Hotel is full of christmas trees and gingerbread houses also.

    - Victoria is known as the warmest place in Canada and i was told that it doesn't snow there. However, it snowed 3 times in December- January 2013-2014.
