Drove home to Curt's Sunday after seeing Swan Lake. Bette's daughter Amanda and family visited. Went to great restaurant El Corporal for huckleberry margarita. Huckleberries are the famous fruit of Montana.they grow also in Idaho and Pacific Northwest. They have the most anti-oxidants of all fruits after the acai berry. They are smaller than a blueberry and a little tastier. Really tasty though. ...

After being back from Peru for a whole 20 hours, I flew out of MCI headed to Salt Lake, and then eventually Kalispell. I rented a Chevy Captiva and was on my way to Glacier National Park. ... at the 3,400 foot level and ended up around the 3,900 foot level...did I mention UP? It really was a great trail, but it took one and one half hours to climb up to the Avalanche Lake. Now mind you, I was stopping to take every moment to take a picture and Nick was forging ahead (as you will soon see)! I'm SO lucky he is MINE!!! Along the trail you see massive evidence of avalanches in the past...thousand of trees came down over the years. But like all forests ...
