We stopped many times to take photos. The mountains are regal as they rise high above the canyon floors, and below the tree line it was clear where the trees were green and healthy and where they had burned in a forest fire.

Today we head to West Glacier, Montana. Started the day with getting fuel, DEF, and a quick truck wash. Then breakfast at Mickey D's. We packed up the coach and headed off. ... to the 'Empire Builder', our second world famous rail journey. This is a double decker train, with recliner seats and lots of leg room. We have a sticker placed above our seats with our destination on it, so the guard can wake us if we are asleep when we arrive at the station ! There are even two volunteer guys, (reminding me of Ray Meares or overgrown Boy Scouts) who give information about the area, over the tannoy, as the train travels along. ...
