Montana Glacier Park
... Park is a beautiful drive and we enjoy the scenery very much. A little disappointing to not see any mountain goats or bear along this trip but the vistas make up for it. Tons of road construction!!! and it is crazy windy and raining at the summit; we are in shorts and tank tops so don't spend much time up there!

... to go any further. We reckoned that staying on the side of the road would put us at risk of being hit by speeding trucks and kept moving at our own peril. Many hours after we stopped in a small town. The storm only got worse and we checked into a very nice hotel with warm rooms and hot showers. The rate was unbelievably low - 39.99$ + tax. Almost all rooms very unoccupied - Kalispell was clearly not a destination of choice ...
