... Sheryl Crow and Aerosmith recently played there. This is all happening in the small town of State Line (population: 840). While we were there the Eagles were performing at a small, (seats 4,000) outside venue at Harrah's in State Line. Tickets were sold out but we could hear them clearly right outside the gate and watched them on the large video screens (and saved $220).....nice night.

We wondered why we were seeing "road apples" on the highway and shortly thereafter, we saw an old fashioned wagon train making it's way slowly up the road with a police escort. ... he sees of that particular snow bunny. More a Summer girl. J & S skiied back to the lodge while Caragh and boys did some tobogganing at bottom of mountain near gondola before catching bus. Then, more palaver. Caragh had locked backpack, gear, wallets, phones, shoes etc in locker. ... normally go to is Sand Harbor, be warn, if you go to Sand Harbor it gets packed very quick and parking is limited. and it costs money to get in , and that goes with Nevada Beach. Now where do the locals go, a lot of these places are hidden and parking is hard to find. But 2 popular local spots that I recommend is either Chimney beach or Hidden Beach. Chimney beach is on hwy 28, there 2 parking spots to chose from, but if there filled up your **** out of luck. ...
