We woke to a knock on the door and coffee served in china demi-tasse on a silver tray. What a change from camping! After leaving Rosedown we drove a few miles on to our bed and breakfast for the next two nights- whew- no more camping! We are staying at The Cottage Plantation- a few miles north of St. Francisville. We hear that General Andrew Jackson also chose this plantation to rest at after the Battle of New Orleans!

The original house had been built by a British colonist Barrow, who built it to represent some fabulous building perhaps ...

Most people then went to bed, however Alice, Alex, Ollie, Candice, Laura and I stayed up playing a iPod version of charades which records you to watch back! Hilarious! We kept this up for a few hours before deciding to hit the hay ...
