    ... Once again we departed port to the calliope. It would seem that the answer to yesterday's question as to whether this is going to happen each time we depart port is yes.

    Received an email from NAB this evening advising they can't check why my credit card is not working overseas unless I phone or send a 'secure message' by logging in to my internet banking. So I sent a secure message. I might get this sorted out by the time I get home!

    ... gardens at Rosedown. The driveway to the house was lined with magnificent, moss draped cypress trees.

    ... in Rome. The structure is perfectly square with columns on each side. There was a fire caused by lightning in the 1960's completely destroying the building apart from the columns, which the present owner lovingly restored to their former glory, in the new house.
