Was walking around the lake tonight as it was getting dark and caught first site of a bat. There were quite a few small ones buzzing by. The rubbish tins around here all have covers on them that have to be opened by putting your hand in the lid and pulling up ...

A travel blog entry by levinson5 on Apr 08, 2013

    ... decompress.

We went back to the Silvermans and cooked out again. The kids had another game of All-American Ball and Shovel Ball. Before going to bed, Alex told us that Tahoe was expecting snow and that Donner Pass may be out of the plans for the next day. I guess I heard her but we had not seen snow in a while and it was April. It was sort of hard to process. Sure enough we woke up at 6am to a light dusting and Donner Pass was ...
