    Today, I met some Canucks that came down to pick potatoes. I sent Charley over to scout them out and meet them. I shared a bottle of Cognac with the adults and made friendly conversation with them in the Rocinante. They were interested in Charley's French origins. I left the bottle in their camp the next day as a memento.

    ... to cross the border, we loaded them into a sack and Nancy stayed at the border crossing while I went into Maine to get fuel. When I got out of the RV to fill up, a lady came out and told me she had to pump the fuel, so OK, I just stepped aside and let her. Yes, I did stop and pickup Nancy on the way back into Canada.

    ... time to make the 5 pm crossing back to Lévis, where the kids had an ice cream before we drove on towards Edmunsten.
