too much wind …….. you get the drift. Needless to say there wasn’t much success on the surfing front here and that started to cause some frustrations…. The weather isn’t looking too good generally - very windy and showers - we were definitely getting fed up camping in anything other than dry weather. May be better to move inland for a while.

Earlier in the day we bumped into a peterpans worker who advised us of a free beach party where the locals go so we decided not to follow the hostel crowed and to venture to the beach. As Nimbin is solely a marijuana hippy town, there was really nothing there that interested me. It wasn't my scene at all and the best part of the day was the journey there, singing along to the music. It felt like a school trip when the best part of the day was the bus ride. Nimbin was just one high street of crazy, high people smoking weed ...

Our last couple days with Tony were pretty cruisey - none of us were in a rush to go anywhere! The boys were pretty keen to go golfing on the course Tony works on, so we headed on out. I took a quick crash course in golf cart driving. See those American movies where people are racing through on golf carts? It's a lie, they go at snails pace! There was no way I could go speeding in that thing. But it was a lot flasher than I thought it would be - it had gps and a ...
