We arrived at Kidman Creek on Thursday at Marilyn and David Booths home. Such a lovely spot, about 30kms as the crow flies inland from the sea , no electricity only solar and they are vegans. Went back to Glencoe in the misty rain and I felt very at home as though I had been there before in a previous life. Felt like that last time we went also. Entered a lot of castles and stately homes (a round tower home). Visited Viking houses and a 17th century Mead Path Tower in The Shetlands. Some of the Viking houses were amazing and very much intact a lot like Skara Brae in the Orkneys.
... residing with, was I? It did give me time to catch up on my journal, go for a nice walk and be alone with my thoughts. That was all very well, but I was so ready to party and have fun, not sit in alone and have early nights. I wanted to be in the thick of it, having this amazing time that everyone says you had, not only in Byron, but on the whole of the East Coast. Vandaag hadden we bijden het gevoel een beetje gesettled te zijn in onze nieuwe levens stijl.
We blijven misschien nog wat langer hier aangezien het een erg leuke plek is met restaurantjes , bars en erg vrolijke en vriendelijke mensen.
