Our last stop has been Gatlinburg, TN. We enjoyed our visit to the Dixie Stampede and Dollywood. Jim looked all over the place, high and low but never saw Dolly! We ran into the Compton's from Lexington who happened to be here too. We enjoyed having dinner together with Ben, Suzanne, Charlie and Nancy. It was nice to have friends to enjoy a meal with again.

It will be wonderful to be back in South Carolina even though there will be lots of changes from ...

... the visitor centre is a museum and gift shop. What a great collection of antiques and an awesome gun collection. Impressive stuff especially notable the museum is free and survives on the purchases in the gift shop and donations. Worth the stop. With the heavy rain and thick fog, we opts against doing the Tail of the Dragon and chose to skirt around. This turned out to be a really nice ride through the forest into Pigeon Forge. ...

It is the power of the inter webs that Mom and I found our adventure for today. With no plans while the boys headed to Bristol Speedway, we happened to find Panther Creek State Park through Google. ... 24 hours though so we may have been wanting to buy
milk at 3am and it may have been taking us a realllllly long time to
