    ... Amana RV Park and Event Center is a large park with over 400 plus sites. There is a rally for New Horizon, a 5th wheel manufacturer from Kansas next week so many are here early to get a good spot.

    The Amana Furniture and Clock factory was one of my favorite stops. The quality of craftsmanship is very evident and we watched several men working on furniture from a viewing area. ...

    We left Grand Island to a beautiful sunrise. Not many times do you have a great sunset and then get to see the big fireball in the East come morning. What it does tell you is we are out and on the road early. This is another day we will be logging 350 plus miles.     ... And another thing. No internet. My iPad needs it. So the ride. Went looking for breakfast, everyone sleeps late here. I was in Deadwood before 0700 and they weren't open. The slot machines were. Then I rode up to Mt. Rushmore and took some pictures and got my pin. There are some pretty hills here. Then I had to go to see Chief Crazy Horse. It was worth the trip.     ... them, and dives head first into the burrow opening, but only comes up with dirt up his nose. I thought they were chipmunks, but they are thirteen-striped ground squirrels.








    So tomorrow we will say good bye to the ground squirrels and corn fields. Oh wait, isn't Nebraska the CornHusker State.... Dang, more corn!
