      Quickly we get into the swing of travel. Our patterns already established, the kids were in the pool shortly after breakfast. Tom left to get the RV and was back an hour later with our giant 29 foot Tioga. Check out and then off to the Fred Meyer's for 5 days food and REI for bug spray and head nets.       Roger, Chris, and I, along with Mike our guide, are standing on the dock after flying back from Beluga Lake, brainstorming on how to salvage the week and go after Reds. "Reds," I thought, I'm ready to go after pinks, silvers, or blues for that matter. I got hooked and ripped by the Beluga Lake trip; I'm now ready to hook some fish, any fish. Get the hook out of your butt, I thought, and go talk to Mike about other options.

      We decided to take the 2 hour walking tour which started immediately when we got there. The tours are provided by a company that also does guided ice climbing, glacier hikes, rafting and more. Our guide is a young woman who grew up in Michigan, went to college in MN and now lives in Portland, OR. This is her third summer in Alaska working for this company. During ...
