    Got up and took the van to the RV Park owner's garage. Found the steering box had torn the frame apart. Park owner welded a fix and sad it should get us to town but it might make it home. Great Folks! So to the mountains we went. ...

    Roger, Chris, and I, along with Mike our guide, are standing on the dock after flying back from Beluga Lake, brainstorming on how to salvage the week and go after Reds. "Reds," I thought, I'm ready to go after pinks, silvers, or blues for that matter. I got hooked and ripped by the Beluga Lake trip; I'm now ready to hook some fish, any fish. Get the hook out of your butt, I thought, and go talk to Mike about other options.

    We decided to take the 2 hour walking tour which started immediately when we got there. The tours are provided by a company that also does guided ice climbing, glacier hikes, rafting and more.     ... our Valdez history lesson and it was lunch time now. We had some leftovers back at the camper but would be going past Mike's Palace on our way back. Albrecht's and the lady at the Worthington Glacier Site had both recommended it so we stopped there for lunch. I had their homemade minestrone soup and Wayne had his standard halibut sandwich, both very good, and we had a nice waitress.
