After breakfast we started the drive to Watkins Glen (including a stop for lunch) and arrived at the motel. This town was only a one night stop over heading back to Milford, stopped at Scranton briefly on Friday for a bit more shopping & coffee. Bought a lovely sterling silver & diamond necklace on sale in the mall. Also bought a few clothes, trousers made in Jordan, bonus stop here. Such a nice change to seeing 'Made in China'.
We made it. This place is pretty cool. We only did about a third of what's here and we will have to come back. This gorge has been created over hundreds of years of erosion and is really worth the time. Need to plan for a full to 3/4 day to take all this in.
