We spent the weekend in Hilton Head Island. It was warm Friday afternoon of our arrival but we didn't do much as the traffic was heavy. I went to see the new Interstellar movie which was well done. We walked the beach Saturday morning then drove around a little but were limited in access to only 60% of island because we had kayaks on top.

The whole island is developed to blend the natural surroundings with resorts, golf courses, homes, etc. ...

... to call Gerold to bottle it freshly for us! We only had to wait about 5 minutes for what we think will be the freshest hot sauce ever! There is a historic fort and lighthouse on the island that we visited and took lots of pictures of before heading back to the beach (can’t help ourselves). ... surrounded by trees and was pristine - Savannah is really a very beautiful city. We climbed back into the car and headed onwards towards our hotel, which is slightly outside of the city. After checking in, christening our ride BwagPo in honour of his license plate, and grabbing dinner at Wendy's (oh so healthy!) we retired to bed.
