... our route back to a place just before Penzance where we had passed a Chinese restaurant earlier in the day. We went in and could have had a buffet for £11.50 each, or al a carte. We chose al a carte as Edie never gets her money's worth at buffets, So that was our day. Great weather, relaxing cruising, and a reasonable sweet and sour pork dinner. Tomorrow's our last full day in Cornwall. Can't believe the10 days have gone so quickly. How do we spend ...

... pub. We even had a Cornish Cream Tea in the restaurant the doubles as the pub. Leaving aside Doc Martin, it really was a great example of an old fishing port. Tiny houses built almost on top of each other. Narrow passage ways, one called by the locals as "Squeeze-ee-Belly Alley". Some cottages are now summer rentals and have lovely small gardens. And the streets really are steep, really steep. Up on top, the town sprawls out into a fairly large village. It is surrounded ...

... priced trinkets. We had lunch at a little pub. The food was very good and the waitress was very friendly and agreed to take our photo. We continued looking around till 5.00, when we were worn out and happy to head home. It was a good day. Tomorrow we have decided to go to Port Isaac ( Doc Martin territory ) to make sure we see this before time runs out. We only have 3 full days left before the next phase ...

... come to lock the church. He had a book with the names of the people buried there. There were no Andrewarthas. Edie was certain she remembered something from her family tree, so when we got back to the cottage she went searching on google. Seems there is another graveyard in St Day just near Gwennap which may be more forthcoming. That will have to wait for another day. Tomorrow there have been thunderstorms predicted for the whole of Western Cornwall. Don't know what we will do ...

... pub for dinner. The Cornish Arms is about a 200 metres walk from the cottage. We got there about 5.30 but they didn't serve dinner until 6.00. So we had a drink and perused the menu. I decided I would have a Veggie Burger and Edie chose a prawn cocktail with garlic bread. The meals were very large. So long diet. But we did enjoy it and we certainly got value for money. Tomorrow we plan to go to St Michael's Mount and then down to Lizard. Not sure what else, we'll take it as it ...
