    ... supply and consistantly chased off any other bird who tried to eat.

    Later in the evening we headed to the Haworth's for the evening. Dinner was great and after dinner Bob treated us to some original songs as well as some familar songs.

    Tomorrow we hope to visit Crater Lake and wend our way north toward the Columbia River Gorge.

    Norway: Bike ride around the lake, eating home made meals at Gma's house, hikes and bike rides. Germany: Hanging out in the city center, trip to Heidelberg with group, going out to club 7.     ... our guide and van driver met us out front of the rv park and after picking up another couple in town we headed north to the set in point on the Rogue River. It was a great first experience for the kids. Arden explained how to handle everything from getting stuck in eddys to what to do if we flipped...and took us from smooth water all the way up to a couple of class 4 rapids. It was a lot of fun and I'm sure they will want to do it again. ...

    ... magnificent. Green hills, often carpeted with wild flowers, great views from the high points over endless hazy blue valleys, little far off houses scattered around the distant vistas like dolls houses. Just lots of “Wow, look at that” country and magic to see and experience.

    ... only 59 miles. Next comes the small burg of Ten Mile. Now we have to vote, do we go to tiny Lookingglass or to Winston, a city of 5329 souls? Winston wins. We pass by a large mill that produces lumber and plywood. We take highway 99 through nearby Dillard to southbound Interstate 5.

    We decide to eat lunch in the town of Myrtle Creek (2400 souls). It is part of the Tri City area- Myrtle Creek, Tri City and Riddle. It has a nice sports park and plenty of parking for big rigs. The ...
