    ... Ado. She told us her life story and what it's like to audition for and take part in the OSF company. She had originally auditioned for Cleopatra but was asked to play Beatrice, one of the starring roles in Much Ado. Personally I thought she would have made a marvelous Cleopatra! Sorry I didn't get a photo of her, suffice it to say she is very regal looking.

    ... for two weeks of the year, and about his pride in his town, and his pleasure that he was able to buy the house his grandma had lived in 70 years ago, that he’d played in as a child where he could raise his own children. He also confirmed that the photo I’d taken of a plant surrounding our original pitch at Shasta lake the previous night WAS poison oak.

    ... famous for it's Shakespeare Festival. This is some place that I will have to put on my list of places that Suzi and I should visit together.
    Only 300 more miles to go today. It should put me home in the early afternoon.
    The weather is definitely cooler than that to which I have grown accustomed. I will have to remember to dress warmer these days. ...

    ... and an abundance of wildflowers. Did I ever mention thus far how huge the dandelions are? We reached the peak where we could see many mountains in the distance, including Mt Shasta (we think as it was obscured in smoke), downtown Ashland and the buildings near the condo, Emigrant lake, and two families of deer (mom with babies).     Again the highway climbs. Four miles from the summit we see the Welcome to Oregon sign. Siskiyou Summit is 4310 feet in elevation making the highest point on Interstate 5.
