We got up early and headed to waipio valley with the intention that we would hike down to the valley bottom. We are breathless...not just because of the awesome week we spent in Kona, Hawaii, but, at this moment, primarily because of the crazy-mad sprint across Honolulu's airport to catch our outgoing flight to Auckland, NZ with only 3 minutes to spare!
