... of our evening of bar hopping, we had a new group of Italian and German friends crawling from bar to bar with us. Of course the American guys drifted towards to group of German girls (who they were lucky spoke English), whereas the Italian boys us girls managed to befriend, did not... But you can't spend all day just eating mayo-smothered fries in a country also known for beer, chocolate and Belgian waffles.

With only one day in Brussels, I think we did a pretty good job of sampling the local fare and have saved plenty of room for more as we move on to Brugge next!
