This weekend we went on a mini road trip, and due partly to our joint inability to get up early on Saturday morning, I was convinced to go camping. Initially the idea was to head to the coast on the Saturday in order to get away from the heat as this weekend as it reached 40 degrees celsius easily.

... with it all. Dave plans to make it back up while I am in Europe to finish the floors. Once I am back we do the counter tops and the upper kitchen cabinets. Last, but not least will be the deck, and then…. I’m moving in!

... the bluff. It was awesome! I had not seen the sun set on the ocean horizon in a long time. It was magical to me and I am so happy I stayed to watch it. After the sun set, I left, along with many other people, so we were in a trail of cars for a while.
I ran into a huge traffic jam on the way home too on one of the highways, but I still felt great. I feel like this day restored me and connected me to my true self again.
... several times. We are not whale experts but we have seen our share. These guys were much bigger than any we have ever seen. They were quite a treat to see (and not hit.)
