... did not feel well after several hours in the car.

There were several places to camp on bluffs for free in the northern part south of Leggett. I wish we had the time to do this. It would have been awesome! South of Fort Bragg is the town of Mendocino. We saw a sign for a lighthouse and decided to drive down it. The Point Cabrillo Lighthouse closes at 4:00p.m. It was around 4:30p.m. when we arrived. I ran into a huge traffic jam on the way home too on one of the highways, but I still felt great. I feel like this day restored me and connected me to my true self again.

... several times. We are not whale experts but we have seen our share. These guys were much bigger than any we have ever seen. They were quite a treat to see (and not hit.)

Back to our nighttime Harbor entrance.

It was a dark and stormy night, well actually not so stormy but it was mucho plenty dark. Thankfully there was no fog and no bar to worry about. In exchange for no fog and no bar we had to travel up a ...
