    ... charge my camera to take as many pictures as possible! We also discussed the language barrier that we will face between the Haitians and the Americans. A lot of the little kids don't know any English, but the older kids start to learn some English as they start high school. It will be hard to adapt to a language barrier but I am excited to teach them as much as possible!

    We woke up this morning and decided to take it pretty leisurely as our train left at 2pm and we had done pretty much all we wanted to do in Chicago (plus we had our massive bags which we didn't want to lug around too much!)     We were happy to find a campsite available here Viking Lake State Park in Iowa which was only 14 miles from the town of Red Oak where my maternal grandmother was born in 1903!
