... remarkable – a vast living coral reef which we see on 65ft glass bottomed catamaran (we bottle the snorkeling as it was three miles out!). We saw all kinds of sea life from reef sharks, down to tiny clown fish and learn a lot about the sub-aqua ecosystem. Leaving the sea behind, we head south. I got off the train in Fort Lauderdale and the took the Tri Rail to the airport. My flight is the next day so I decided to get a hotel room in Miami Beach. ... made properly (according to the guide book) like lemon meringue pie. It wasn't too far to Miami but the trip was hot and long, with endless ribbons of highway crossing over each other. How did anyone survive without GPS. No wonder the divorce rate has been so high. We found our holiday house in the suburbs with only one wrong turn, which took us 45 mins to recover from. ... Truluck, famous for their stone crab claws and other seafood delicacies. Another incredible dinner to add to the memories. We walked back to the hotel and had a cocktail at the lobby bar called MO. Great live acoustic guitar music entertained us as Tony sipped his Moscow Mule and I my French martini. ... one I took but it's exactly the eels we saw. We saw two of them going in and out of the coral just like in the picture. What was nice is that there were many other colorful carribbean fish swimming in that same area. If I had a good underwater camera, my picture would have been nicer with all types of fish alongside the eel...

I just read Bonaire has seahorses, so we will of course be on the lookout for those!
