Today was actually a lot more interesting that I thought it would be Nothing would ever beat yesterday's experience but today came pretty close. First I visited the Miami Art Museum http://www.pamm.org which is located in Downtown Miami Florida, at first I thought it would be boring but it was far from it, I learned a lot about the Miami culture and art history. I went on a tourists adventure with about 25 other tourists ...

... handy in miami I had no idea how much I would need it. We went to a beauty salon because I wanted my eyebrows done. "How much to do my eyebrows" seemed to be too difficult for the Hispanic lady to understand. We had to point to our eyebrows and mine what we meant for her to finally tell us $30 dollars. Nah mate ain't nobody gonna pay that much. You would think that eyebrows is something that is part of the common knowledge of someone who works in a beauty shop. Clearly not here! ...

... the harbour. The square was full of street musicians, fortune tellers and street artists hula hooping fire and men swallowing swords (jenny and I literally couldn't watch this). We joined in with the other tourists and watched the sun set. One thing we noticed about Key West was all the wild chickens running around. I still am not sure why the chickens are wild here but we enjoyed watching them try to fit through the holes in the fences which were clearly too small. ...

... get prizes for all the activities you take part in. I never really took part in these things on previous cruises but for this one I thought I would. The things listed above were part of a scavenger hunt that I placed second in. To be honest, only three people took part in this event so it was not hard to place second.. :)

Besides the scavenger hunt, I also did some trivia contests... I met some great people along the way and had lots of fun.

... for Bob we ventured down Calle Ocho into the heart of Miami's Little Havana. Using my phone as a guide, we managed to see most of the recommended 'sights':13th Avenue green and cool and lined with monuments to among others, Jose Marti and the soldiers of the Bay of Pigs invasion, the walk of the stars, and the well-known Maximo Gomez, popularly known as Domino Park where the formerly all-male ranks have been joined by women.
