It's still strange being back with the show though today was a little better because we had a couple of friends come to the first show. We haven’t seen them since the days of Brandtson, the band John and three of our friends played in for almost a decade which places our last visit around 8 or 9 years ago. Jeremy and Lindsey came to the show and we met up with Jeremy and Stacy afterwards for appetizers and drinks. A nice diversion and a fun trip down memory ...

... our jammies - we stopped at the Silver Lake Sand Dune State Park and rode a big butt dune buggy over the dunes for about an hour. It was great fun and the whole car got a kick out of the 2 "Red Hat Ladies" trying to climb in and out of the darn thing. Glad we only stopped a couple of times, I couldn't have climbed in and out many more times.
ANOTHER EARLY START TOMORROW - we catch the ferry from Muskegon to Milwaukee tomorrow morning.
    More tomorrow. ...

We didn't return to the forest until the mid-evening, and spent most of that time in hammocks on the edge of the Electric Forest, peering over at Sherwood Court, where the last three artists were ...

2 in the morning is a good time to blog, right? Well, that's what I'm doing anyways. I didn't write anything yesterday, so here go the past two days. Wednesday, we all woke up and headed off to Michigan's Adventure. For those who are unfamiliar, it's basically a smaller Cedar Point in Muskegon. I think it's a billion times better than Cedar point though, because the rides are just as good, and the longest I've ever had to wait in line is 15 minutes. Also, ...

    Electric forest festival

After a scary first drive out of Chicago we arrived in the evening at electric forest music festival. Strangely the set up is that everyone camps next to there cars and we were fortunate enough to neighbour some hospitable texans whose set up was class. They really showed us what 'glamping' was about- they had tent fans, picnic tables, fish and shrimp dinners, cooked breakfasts and bafflingly they never had warm beer. Camping next to them ...
