Back to African Roots
... then set off to spend the afternoon at Johannesburg Lion Park. We didnīt have high expectations for this park but it blew the three of us away. It was a total bargain for about €15 each. We got to play with the cutest little lion cubs and feed the giraffes who took a fair bit of coaxing to come over but eventually they did and tickled our hands with their long slimy tongues. En route to Johannesburg

We boarded the plane on time, and backed away from the gate on time. Thats when the on time ended and we spent the next three hours on the tarmac as a technical issue made the pilot too nervous to fly. Confidence inspiring in a way, but still frustrating and annoying. Kruger & Lesotho
... it is the highest country in the world - measured using a country's lowest point).Went to the local shebeen and tried the maize alcohol which I'm surprised didn't upset me in any way. it was a matter of chewing your way through it. Kids were certainly happy to see us - tourism is one of the few money spinners in this part of the world.
