We stayed at the shore near the small town of Clifden for four days. The whole place, for miles around, is simple, relaxing, and pleasant. We found a pub we liked in Clifden called Guy's Bar, and ate there every day because why not. The other pubs were probably just as good, who knows maybe better, but we liked Guy's so much we couldn't ...

We got chatting to some Americans and Canadians that were around, did some dancing and then a bit after midnight i walked back to the hotel by myself. It only took 25 minutes and it was a nice walk. Once back i did some reading and went to bed.

... is amazing, it is full of stone and rock walls lining the roads with beautiful sandy beaches in the distance. It is quite wild and woolly but a true pleasure to see. At Roundstone we stop and find the wee Sunday markets with a total of 8 stall holders, we get some raw milk cheddar cheese (Paul is stoked at this and wants to point out to all govs in Aus that we didn't die from eating this) and mini type donuts and lots of advice from the locals.
