... shop and we found heaps of old 80s toys that we had when we were kids which was fun.

After our tour it was time to hit the town with a dinner at Buddy V's aka The Cake Boss' Italian restaurant which was organised by Nathan and Mark for Billy. Billy said he had the best Chicken Parma he has ever had...which is a big call but deserved as the food and service was amazing!! One surprise for us though was the playing field opposite our hotel. Mind you it was covered in snow but did appear to have Rugby goalposts! They looked like rugby posts but in Aspen? Didn't make any sense so today we went searching and found the 'Gentlemen of Aspen Rugby Club'. ... gate and was DNQ. We caught up with her at the finish area and although disappointed, she knew she would learn from the experience. She certainly has a beautiful smile and I am sure she will continue to follow her dream. Greta is supported financially by her family and sponsorship is minimal so please like her on facebook as this will greatly increase her chances of gaining meaningful sponsorship.

... Christmas Tree Lighting
That evening we went the the St Regis for their annual Christmas Tree Lighting. It is quite a spectacle. Carol singing, Champagne bottle opening with a Sabre (very dramatic) and of course a huge, superbly decorated and well lit tree. ... our accent and just wanted to show us their store. Huge animals heads on the wall, antlers, thousands of Stetson hats, whips, belt buckles, knives, animal hides, you name it. We enjoyed it!

In the afternoon we were able to wander around the Wax/Ski tuning Room for the World Cup Teams. Was interesting to see the technicians working on the skis and gaining a greater appreciation of what goes into being a World ...
