    ... Flatt and Scruggs and their former boss Bill Monroe and the fact that the shop saw performances by Hank and Patsy when they were breaking in Nashville. Then lunch at Margaritaville......that Jimmy Buffet gets everywhere. Here another acoustic troubadour sang pop, folk and country in dungarees.So within 400 Yards and before 2.30 we saw three great musical acts and willfully ignored about 20 more.     ... had the lovely Janet guide us through our booking - convince us to pay more for a bigger car. She was very friendly and such a nice lady, some of the grumpy Southampton airport car rental people should go on a course with her!! Needless to say I bought another book and chose Al Gores' 'The Assault on Reason' about the American political system, which I am becoming more and more interested in the longer I stay in the country. This purchase will however be muchly regretted when I have to put my backpack on again - I plan to have a day reading to alleviate this problem.     ... the much raved about Duck Fat Tater Tots. (obviously these were just glorified tots...but we had to try) Apparently we should have just gotten the half order because this was humongous for just the two of us. After many many tot bites we had to admit defeat. Thankfully we had not ordered entrees yet so we just decided to eat something else later when the tots digested.
