    ... A fifty foot rig going thru SF and down Lombard St. (yes, I said Lombard). I will tell you something, the looks on our faces when we saw the sign that said Lombard must have been priceless. When I looked over at Mike he was completely white with enormous eyes! I'm sure I looked the same. They couldn't possibly be serious, right?? They were. Luckily it wasn't the winding zig zagging portion of Lombard, but Holy Cow, how were we supposed to know that?

    I stopped for a couple of nights in Emeryville just outside of San Francisco then I got the train up to Sacramento to meet with Terry Daniels, one of the directors of hOurworld and his girl friend Lara. I had met with the other directors of hOurworld in Portland, Linda and Stephen. They put me in contact with Terry who has been in lake county helping out with the timebank here for about 9months.     ... the property looking for wildlife. Greg had seen deer earlier when he was out walking and he thought we might see them again. We had no luck seeing them but did see lots of signs of wildlife. We did find the
    location where the winery workers dump all the wine skins and stalks after processing. We were surprised that it isn't given to farmers for their livestock.
