    We made it into the Toutle River RV Resort in Castle Rock, WA by late afternoon. It was a pleasant surprise to find that the site we were given had a really nice fire pit.     ... Longview in the grand tradition of small towns has found their niche with squirrel bridges. Seriously tree suspension bridges made so the squirrels can cross the street overhead without being run over . The kids were amused by these bridges.     ... to help preserve the food that they caught, we saw a “Learn to Burn” house on fire on one of the back streets. All the neighbors were sitting in lawn chairs watching the fire department work. The Salt Works was just a small fenced in area amid some very cute sea side houses. It is in the spot where local legend says that it was located.
