We got the train from Brisbane an hour north to Caboolture where we had arranged some help X work. ... Fakten zu unserm Trip.... 1. Dauer des Roadtrips waren 15 Tage, Bzw 14,5 Tage, die andern 0,5 gingen fuer das warten auf den Wicked Service am 1. Tag drauf. 2.Zurueckgelegte Strecke: ca 4900 Kilometer in 8 Tagen 3. Verbrauchtes Benzin: ca 500 Liter 4. Unfaelle oder Pannen: 2, wobei am 1. Tag die sache nur wegen der Klimaanlage war (ueberhitzter Motor)

Am Montag den 23. Feb sind wir dann von Rockhampton (von der Bahnstrecke) bis nach deception Bay gefahren (ca 400 KM). An unserem super Outbackplatz sind wir deswegen aufgewacht, weil die ganze Zeit grosse Trucks und ellenlange Kohlenzuege vorbeigerauscht sind. Am Mittwoch standen wir dann bei Zeiten auf und starteten nach Byron Bay um uns das gemuetliche Dorf anzuschauen. Weiter gings dann die Gold Coast hoch nach Surfers Paradise. Dort fuher wir nur durch und dort hats uns dann schon gereicht!!! Surfers Paradise ist nichts anderes als der Ballermann Australiens. Nur Touristik, Verkehr und ein Hotel am anderen... After that it was a breeze, great t.v on Singapore Airlines, a shower, massage and snooze at Singapore killed most of the 9hrs there and then a 3hr flight to Danang via 30min stop in Cambodia. I little annoyed my now expensive bag didnt come off the carosel but hey I'm in Vietnam now so its all good :)
