    We arrived in Chicago at about 19:30. Several parts of the airport were sporting Christmas decorations.

    We retrieved our luggage fairly quickly and moved on to the rental car bus. A few minutes later we were at the Enterprise desk. We completed the paperwork and got into our minivan.

    About 50 minutes later, we were in Waukegan, Illinois.

This trip has taught me that no matter where I go there will be kind people, there will be interesting experiences and if I close my eyes and meditate I can find my center anywhere in the world and I remember how loved I am by my friends and family who have been with me in spirit every step of the way!     ... a plate of curry wurst, or even the potato pancakes could stop us from slowly getting so cold we had to come home. Paddy and Terry had been planning to go to a jazz club. We were so glad of that cup of tea when we got home.

    The temperature was -8, feels like -16, and I had planned to take beautiful photos, but I couldn't leave my gloves off long enough for a decent one, even using the auto setting. Expecting more overnight snow.
