... towards security. Thankfully there wasn't much of a line, but the two people ahead of us were obviously in no hurry to get where they were going.
Once we were through security, we had to take the tram around the airport to get to our gate, then rush to find our plane and board it. We made it just in time and settled into our seats, more than a little exhausted.
Again, we had an uneventful flight and finally, FINALLY, touched down in Dallas. We ...

... bar for purchases. It's only a 2 hour flight to Russia from here and not a lot of people traveling there. I guess that's why we are in this lame terminal. It seems to be a portable and not part of the real terminal structure. The flight over on Air Berlin from Chicago was lovely. 4:45 pm I'm sitting cross legged on the floor at the Nashville airport. Once again, American Airlines has proven themselves to be a mess of a company. I'm glad they changed my flight this week to earlier, because I wouldn't have made it; that flight has been delayed even more. So currently waiting to see if I'll make it to chicago. Will keep you posted. 5:24 pm On the plane. Now getting off. Just delayed us two hours. FML. 5:52 pm I happened to strike up a convo ...

So I survived the (relative) hell that is travelling by Amtrak from San Francisco to Chicago. It was touch and go at the end given that they ran out of food and so the only choice you had for lunch the final day was whether or not to have cheese on your burger. I'm not joking when I say burgers just don't taste right anymore. I also arrived in Chicago six hours later than scheduled, although given the train practically crossed a continent in three days, that's ...

... a last lunch of wow bao dumplings. I scoff down 8 (I held off enough to share some with my beloved) dumplings. Hinesh has the cold hot peanut sauce noodles with some bbq pork baos.

After our lunch we head to Wrigley Park. As we get on the trains, we forget about the Cubs vs Cardinals game and the trains are packed. We get to Addison station and follow the crowd out. There is no way we are getting a tour today - boo. We look to get some tickets for the game but ...
