    ... the trip. Even when we were "on our own" when Jenny was our guide, the food was delicious. It was striking, though, that there are so few carbs in a typical Chinese diet. In south central China (Hunan province), while rice was served at every meal, that was pretty much the only carbohydrate other than the small amount of carbs in the veggies.     ... Without gushing too much, he is a truly wonderful guy we’re so grateful to have met.

    ... t for the fact I had my Llama jumper on and I was carrying all my stuff I probably would have got hypothermia. Thankfully, Americans are a helpful bunch and sent me in the right direction.     ... there for a bit and seeing white i came back down the tower, got some souvenirs on the street and then some lunch. I returned to the metro and caught it to the Roosevelt station – the station nearest the hotel. I then walked through grant park and went to the field museum.

    ... retrace my steps and go back to the last arrow I saw, begin again, but this time look carefully for the arrow I missed previously. I try to incorporate that now. If something doesn't feel right, I think back to the time I last felt good about my direction, go back, and take my time and wait for a "sign" - I usually find another path/answer and begin forward again. And even if it seems an odd way to go, I'll give it a shot!
