    ... ate at one of the restaurants called the ' R & G lounge ' so we decided to give it a go. when we got there dad ordered the R & G special steak, mum ordered chicken and cashews and Ella ordered noodles. I ordered salted and peppered calamari and to my surprise out came little baby octopuses. I couldn't bear to see the octopuses being eaten. So we had some leftovers so we gave it to a homeless man.     ... Wharf. After that we did a San Francisco must and rode the historic Cable Car to downtown. The streets in San Francisco are very unique. They are so steep it is incredible! You really need to use the public transportation to get from one place to another. The Cable Car ride was like a slow motion roller coaster! Downtown was bustle of activity.     ... and we of course looked around the stores for a while. Alex took his leave of us to have a few beers as us girls marvelled at some amazing local artists’ work and purchased a few treats. I have got some salt water taffy to try later, and I have found a couple of souvenirs I want to buy if I can make the space in my suitcase!

    ... to drive over it or something a cruise is really the best way of seeing 1 of the most iconic bridges in the world. I also saw the Bay bridge which is pretty cool too!

    Having not turned on a television yet to watch 'American' cable tv, I decided to put it on...if nothing else, just for some background 'noise'. I think I spent 5 mins channel surfing...and then turned it off again! OMG...what is this *****?? 100+ channels and nothing worth watching!
