... spent in Chinatown (the biggest outside of china) and we enjoyed a lovely Chinese dinner and a really good sleep with little street noise for once! The next day we were due to leave San Fran to head back to Vegas but before we did we revisited the Golden Gate Bridge and could actually see it. ... from home). Amazingly rain had stopped by breakfast, we couldn't believe how lucky we had been, 42 days away and only a half day of rain. Alcatraz very interesting and the audio tour was very good. We got back to San Fran about 11 and spent the rest of the day shopping for makeup etc. Enjoyed a really nice lunch at Cheesecake Factory on the 6th floor of Maceys looking out towards ...

... it and to get there we had to drive on 20 miles of the most insanely winding round I’ve ever seen. It was like driving a slalom, however it was the most exciting thing we’d done for the past few days unless you count watching Charlotte cross a road with a McDonalds exciting…which I do.

We stopped for some pictures at an abandoned looking buildings and vehicles. Charlotte got out to take pictures whilst I kept my eye on the rear view ...
