Talking to locals, most think these people should get a job but it looks like this is unlikely given drink, drugs and mental health issues underlying the problems people have.       ... splitting Half Dome And North Dome (see pics). We were treated to a walk deep into the Sequoia Mangroves. These trees are the biggest I have EVER seen or even imagined. There was one giant which had fallen and hollowed, and a couple of the crew knelt through the middle (?? That should give you a good idea).
