... legen. Flott zog ich meinen Schlafanzug an, spülte mir mit einer Flasche Wasser die Zahnpaste aus. Kroch in meinem Schlafsack und versuchte nun(fast) ausgestreckt im Auto zu schlafen. Auf das Dach prasselten ununterbrochen die Regentropfen. Es waren gerade einmal 5 Grad.

Zur Geisterstunde, an einem entlegenen Parkplatz zu einem Walkway, schloss ich die Augen und schlief kurz später übermüdet ein. Eine kalte, ungemütliche Nacht stand bevor.

... dancing. Everyone one was wearing the blue and orangey yellow of the Highlanders, and a great vibe coming from all. It was deemed normal to wear a chequered boiler suit with the team colours on the them, and the girls wearing...well not a lot!
The stadium was new (built for 2011 world cup), and had a roof over the top, the lights glowed bright and it was game time (after a couple of pints first though).

There is a stage with some local bands performing and as all the bars in the square look out towards the stage, they are full of people enjoying the show. ... here, and enjoyed a the lovely weather.

Before we headed on the next day we drove out to the Royal Albatross Colony. This is set on majestic cliffs at the end of the peninsula.

Before leaving Dunedin we visited the botanic gardens, which were had a huge variety of plants and were very well maintained. Dunedin is certainly the loveliest city we saw here.

... we are having normal breakfast and salads for lunch. When we are eating in the formal dining room we have at least 3 courses but we have been having dinner quite often on the Lido Deck where you can choose what to have and how much.
