... was right at lunchtime . Fairly large dining area inside and al fresco with a nice view of the river. Everyone's casually dressed and very laid back, very at ease atmosphere. Sonya arrives looking great as usual. Smiling, excited, eager and hungry all in one. We get seated and order lemonade, really good stuff, and she tells me what she's ordered in her previous visits. I study the menu and choose something not on the menu! Chicken enchiladas with mołe sauce on top. ...

It is 5.30am in the morning, dark; yet down here in the Hotel lobby (wifi seems too far to reach our room) , many people are up and waiting for the breakfast room to open- us too, then we will be on our way westward......hoping to catch a glimpse of some Texas Long horns today.

... relaxing in the heat. The Riverwalk is the best part of San Antonio. It is basically a river that has small boats going down it every so often, especially sightseeing ones. The riverwalk is lined on both sides with restaurants and shops and waterfall type things here and there too. It really is nice to walk along and sitting here for a meal would be nice. Every so often there are stairways leading up to the street above, so the Riverwalk is below the streets of San Antonio if that ...
