... line-height: 15.8599996566772px;">Not as sore from the bike ride as we thought when we woke up! Walked up to the Daily Grind for a quick breakfast and coffee, brought it back to the room. Slowly packed up, then met Mike at Sarika Thai restaurant for lunch - the pad thai was delicious! Kelly and Mike got chicken wings to go, in addition to their meal. We bid Mike adieu and continued on our drive into the hill ...

We rode the streets for a while (yeah we're cool) then hit the Riverwalk going north. There were hardly any people there, and the riding was smooth, and not too hot (shocking I know). ... theatre within the mall. Nice/huge overstuffed recliners with tons of leg room. We saw Gone Girl with Ben Affleck. Good movie, worth seeing, but I was disappointed with the ending. I won't give it away....go see it. After the movies, window shopping and shopping, we went to a Mexican restaurant along the Riverwalk for a marguerite and munchies before we headed back to the campground.

Went into downtown San Antonio today which by the way i one of the cleanest downtowns I've ever seen. Parked in a very expensive parking garage, but well worth it since it was about two blocks from the Alamo. The pictures look like we had the Alamo to ourselves today, but I took almost al the people out of the photos...love that editing program.

Let me give you a very brief history of the Alamo. In 1724 it was established as a ...
