    ... over the street from one end. Ouray, like so many other towns in Colorado, was an old mining town. Its Main Street is registered as a National Historic District. There's a road leading off the Main Street that leads to a pretty waterfall. The hike up to the base is incredibly steep, but we had just eaten elk burgers and washed them down with beer so it was all good.
