          ... and we have a breeze. This park is on a huge reservoir and although you can see your neighbour; you can’t hear them. We are surrounded by mountains and are in a valley of grass lands. Oh, did I mention the rage river that flows through the park? This is actual water people. We haven’t seen any water raging in over two months! Colorado has water and temperatures under 100ᵒ F!           ... over the street from one end. Ouray, like so many other towns in Colorado, was an old mining town. Its Main Street is registered as a National Historic District. There's a road leading off the Main Street that leads to a pretty waterfall. The hike up to the base is incredibly steep, but we had just eaten elk burgers and washed them down with beer so it was all good.           ... day. The scenery took our breath away so we stopped a lot for pictures and to soak it all in.
