Early this morning I woke up and got ready for a very long day of training. What is normally done in a day and a half, we had to do in just one day. The course was long and tedious at most times; I was very familiar with euthanasia and the procedures behind it, so I was quite a bit bored. We practiced holding techniques on real animals. Wow! What an adventure! We motored onto a ferry at Haines to take a cruise over to Skagway, Alaska. Up at the crack of dawn to be at the dock by 7:00 AM to leave around 8:00AM. The best laid plans...
