    ... to the glacier, so we didn't spend a lot of time outside but did manage a geocache there before watching a movie in the visitor's center about Mendenhall glacier and enjoying the views and displays from inside the center.

    An hour later we boarded the bus which took us to back to Juneau and our boat ride back to Skagway. The trip home was full of whale, eagle and seal watching.

    ... beautiful green pine trees, mountains all around us, waterfalls and icebergs in the bluish green water. The temperature got colder as we got closer to the glacier. Tracey Arm was beautifu!     ... I told him I was happy to oblige. When we arrived back in Skagway our bus driver met us and drove us to our lunch spot which was billed as a salmon bake but was really a salmon fish fry and ribs. It tasted good but should not have been called a salmon bake. I still hadn't had any great salmon. The gold panning was pretty hokey but it had its moments.     ... I captured the best videos with the camera. You remember, the ones we can't see on the iPad. Loud cannon like booms could be heard clearly as the calves of ice fell from the glacier into the bays. The captain turned the ship to begin our journey to Haines.
