Stopped along the way to see Capulin Volcano, one of the few that you can walk down into the interior cone. We walked about a third of the way around the rim, which was about a mile. We didn't take the walk into the interior, but looking into the area, we saw mule deer grazing on the slope. It's hard to see the depth of the interior in the pictures. It was about 1,000 feet across the rim and 350 feet deep from where we stood.

... ok. The site had thick brush all area that was not gravel road, so our view from the picnic table was the rear of Mona. Lol We took Lisa ( recently renamed toad) to Raton for a much needed bath. Then drove around Sugarite , down to the lake. Followed the road as it exited Sugarite, we entered Dortheys wildlife management in Colorado. All looked the same, but sign indicated New Mexico or Colorado. The area us nice , we lowered the windows ...

... to during the last few days through Missouri and Kansas, but were still not "liver light" shaking so we were pleased.

... in. We enticed and hem over and had a cuddle. Onwarss into trinidad, marknleading and along the way he spottd what looks d like a dog, maybe german shepherd, but bigger and loads of hair. Dog stood up as we approached and we both then realisd it was a bear. Loads of panic set in as we tried to stop and get gopro's working. ... connection - he meets me out back to check it out. He decides the best thing for me to do is to turn around, and connect up to the site next to us. He even says there is cable - well he right - there is a cable coming out of the ground with the wrong connections - but I bought a connector to make it work. But, out of the 20 stations we can pickup they are all full of fuzz...go figure.
