Second stop was a coral garden type of place where many snorkeling boats were anchored. Everyone got in the water. Frank had a life/float ring for me and he stayed by me for a while, until I told him I would hang on to the rope of the zodiac. There were SO MANY fish!!! Unbelievable!! Our guide Vincent is from Burgundy, France and his girlfriend is from Fakarava. So he decided to surprise us all and have her perform her native dances for us. It was beautiful to watch her and the costumes were amazing. Now we are practicing our hip shake. Great ab workout!

... overnight cruise, we arrive at the island of Rangiroa. We are greeted by a friendly pod of dolphins which were jumping and hitching a ride on the bulbous bow of the boat! Rangiroa was probably the most remote place we've visited so far. The flight was quite scary with turbulence so we were relieved when we landed.
