      ... although she claims she wasn't drunk (and actually never has been), but 1 neck of a corona bottle and she was basically blotto. The bar tender ended up shouting us all a round; mum didn't feel up to having her second drink but we encouraged her to and wasn't it hilarious! She thought that buffalo wings were literally from buffalos (even though buffalos don't have wings). She sneaked off midway through her dinner, I wouldn't be surprised if she slept with a bucket next to her ...

      After a lovely warm coffee on 7th Avenue I had a wander round Washinton Park.. This has been used for many films and tv shows and contains a copy of the Arc de Triumphe.... Dedicated to, yes you've guessed, George Washington....
      I wandered back downtown and took in the sites, although the cold meant toilets had to be reasonably close...
      It was not long before I got back to the East a Tenement Museum for my two tours, Irish Roots and Hard Times... The building did not comply ...

      ... even more exotic and exciting.
      Out of the Blue realization hits me.... i just took a 16 hour flight across and around the whole world, only to find myself in the international travel section at Barnes & Noble ..... but don't we have to be at home to start traveling? I mean doesn't every new travel start from home? Then, is this my home? Did I come back home only to travel outside? ... How about that???........Welcome home Mini ... Welcome home!!!

      ... To top it all off, Shake Shack mistakenly poured an extra beer for us, so we had a free beer to send us on our way! Once we finished our picnic lunch in the park, we split from Ryan and Marissa and headed down south to the 9/11 memorial and battery park.
