Aber es war anstrengender als wir es uns vorgestellt hatten und bis auf Manu, Robin und mich sind alle anderen nur bis zur Hütte zum Berg gelaufen, die auf 1100 Metern liegt. ... unheimlich lecker und gar nicht mal zu süß! Sämtliche Süßwaren sind in NZ hoffnungslos überzuckert.

Abseits der Bäume waren überall Bänke aufgebaut, nach dem Einkauf in der prallen Sonne zu sitzen war herrlich.

Der Tag endet ähnlich gut mit einem privaten Bierfest im Haus. :D

Entertainment – It gets quiet out in the sticks. We have been particularly proud of our Kindles. I have read about 20 books while travelling and have had to carry the smallest of weights for the benefit. It’s truth. Saying goodbye, even if you’re moving onto something happy and exciting, can break your heart into many little pieces. I spent the last five amazing days in Christchurch at the home I grew up in. I ate food cooked for me by my mum, and sat in my favourite place in the lounge during the evenings.
