After a mediocre and too-pricey breakfast buffet at the Rutland Holiday Inn, we proceeded east through the Green Mountains and Woodstock, VT, a very picturesque town reminiscent of Norman Rockwell art. En route our tour director played "Moonlight in Vermont."

there is a center for wildlife rehab not far from our campground and once a week they give tours, so we got to see some of the "ambassidors" of the center. we loved the barred owl and later that nite as we were in our camper, we heard one loud and clear.
