... activity - eating! We made pizza croissants, salmon and cream cheese muffins, macaroni and cheese balls - and when that all ran out we ordered pizza. I even tried my hand at making rice crispy treats. It might have been the wine or the pot, but they came out harder than granite. We ate it anyway. We stayed up late into the evening drinking wine and slept late the following morning.

... Thanksgiving at Arynn and Sain’s apartment on the Upper West Side. Arynn went all out with hired tables, plates and glasses to fit us all in. Some of the usual crew were there and we also met some new people. I made a farro salad and Jamie Oliver’s sticky date pudding with a whiskey sauce. There was so much food! Arynn made two turkeys and had to use another apartment’s oven too as both wouldn’t fit into her oven! She had to get up at 3:30am to ...
... One of the highlights of the past couple weeks was getting to ride on the Christmas Train. The Christmas Train? Yeah! We got to know some of the folks who run the Catskill Mountain Railway, a volunteer organization that runs a very sweet tourist train and is preserving some of the tracks and history around Hurley.
