    Location, location, location

After an unbeleivable stay at the chesterman beach B&B in late March, we're headed back up for another visit. The B&B is centered, feet from the surf of the crecent shaped Chesterman beach and only a mile or two from the quaint town of Tofino.

Beach combing, Whale watching or taking advantage of the numerous, close by trailheads that allow easy access into the old growth rain forest or other secluded beaches all made for a memorable visit.

The location of the B&B is the best off all worlds. a quarter mile of of the main road that leads to town and the National park, set right on the beach in a quiet, tree studed area with privacy galore. The accomidations themselves were clean, comfortable and contemporary and hosted by the most cordial couple imaginable. Todd and Lynda are ready and willing to share their local knowledge of the areas dining, touring and shopping opportunities, of which there are many.

My girlfriend and I are headed back up in mid August and have every expectation of another wonderful trip full of lifetime memories .

    Tofino Gem

My husband, 2 boys (12 & 15) and I had the good fortune to stay at the Chesterman Beach Bed & Breakfast in Tofino for 6 glorious days. I can't say enough good things about the entire experience! Tofino is a magical place and this gem of a bed & breakfast was the ideal accomodation for us. Located right on Chesterman Beach, the Bed & Breakfast consists of 3 individual cabins, all tastefully furnished and immaculately kept. Our Garden Cottage had a fully equipped kitchen and a lovely private garden with deck table and chairs. Todd and Lynda, the owners, are terrific hosts, wonderfully warm people and extremely accomodating. Todd's advice was consistently helpful and he even volunteered to take my son boogie-boarding, definitely beyond his job description! We would love to return, maybe splurging next time for the slightly more expensive cabin with the phenomenal ocean view!

Fantastic place, excellent quality, very friendly

We just got back from 3 days in Tofino and stayed at the Chesterman B&B (in the Garden Cottage). It was fabulous - if you're looking to relax, it's the place to be and the place to stay. The hosts are very nice, the breakfasts are great and the location is superb. Make sure you go surfing with Surf Sisters - it's not to be missed! We will be back again I'm sure, the beach is magnetic.

    Mystic & Romantic Retreat

Our family spent several days in December and stayed in the Lookout and the Ocean Breeze. It was perfect for everyone of every age. Walks on the beach, storm-watching, nature walks in the rain forest, curl up with a good book in front of the fire place. My husband and I are now planning a romantic trip for the two of us. The cozy rooms, decorated to bring nature into the room, the warm hosts, the setting of the B&B to the Beach....all these things make it a special B&B that separates it from others in the area. Highly reommended!

    Great view, rooms and hosts

Stayed twice at the Chesterman Beach B&B this year and am going back out this fall. The entire area is spectacular, and the immediate presence of the ocean only adds to the beauty of this facility. The rooms are well kept and clean and the hosts and their dog are extremely friendly and accommodating, quite willing to socialize on the beach but equally happy to allow guests complete privacy, which is possible with each suite having a separate entrance and breakfast delivered to your door.

Am very much looking forward to seeing Todd, Lynda & Bozlee again in a couple of months.

    Fabulous place and location!

I had an absolutely fabulous experience. The place is more beautiful then the pictures on the web-site do justice. I stayed in the look-out suite and the view is truly spectacular. The place is very clean and comfortable and the hosts are wonderful. I especially enjoyed the breakfast. Being able to walk on the beach each day is such a treat. I also enjoyed Tofino. Quaint town with friendly people and great sea food.

I can't wait to come back!

    Beautiful and peaceful!!!

this was paradise - we rented the Lookout suite - beautiful view with peace and quiet. I normally do not like b&b because i like to be away from people. you have your own privacy and it is like being at your own upscale cottage. great food, no tv - i did not want to leave and will be back!!

    Romantic Garden Cottage

My family and I love Tofino and area, and now we have found the jewel of Tofino. Last summer we stayed in the lovely Garden Cottage. It was so romantic and peaceful and the incredible Chesterman Beach just a few steps away. Our little bit of heaven on earth. We are going back to Chesterman Beach B & B this July and I am counting the days until we can go back. I cannot say enough about this lovely B & B - please go, you will love it!!

    Great location...a little pricey.

We spent a weekend at the Chesterman Beach Bed and Breakfast....stayed at the Lookout Suite. It is a cute suite with a deck and great view of the beach...literally at your doorstep....nice private entrance, comfy bed. And the breakfasts are fantastic! Fresh fruit and some nice touches. But on the down side, we paid $150 a night, which I think is a bit pricey. It's not that the suite isn't nice, it would be more fairly priced at around $120 in the low season or less, especially considering you can stay at a number of other very nice B and Bs and resorts for as low as $99, including a FULL kitchen. The bathroom has an interesting big round and deep tub thing without an actual shower. There is a handheld shower-head, and though it's kind of fun to take a bath in the tub, it's definitely not good for shower people. And since it's so deep, it's difficult to access if you have any slight disability. I think if the owners are going to charge $150, they should definitely kick it up a notch...bathrobes, slippers, spa-quality amenities, fresh flowers in the suite.

The Best Place to Stay in Tofino!!!!

We stayed in the Garden Cottage, it was perfect! We were steps away from the incredible Chesterman Beach. The cottage was beautiful, the bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept in. Breakfast was served to us each morning at the cottage. Very delicious assortments of fruit, & fresh baked muffins, breads, etc... We had a wonderfull yogurt & fruit parfet one morning. We had a private patio & yard that we'd love to try & duplicate at home. I can't say enough good things about this place - we will definately be back!

This is the perfect place to stay for a romanitc, private getaway or if you are a family with little ones like us.

There is not one moment in Tofino that was mediocre or disappointing. It was far beyond anything I could ever have dreamed! I dream of the day I will return! And in the meantime I again wonder..... why do I live in Calgary? Although, I AM blessed with the world's best friends. ...

The first sighting was a gorgeous sea otter floating on his back :-). He didn't seem to mind us snapping away at him as he bobbed along!! Our next encounter was a mother grey whale and her baby. We watched them for quite a while and at one point they surfaced ...

We were both so hungry that we wolfed it down and under normal circumstances would have happily accepted that lunch/dunch was now done and dusted. However, the next-door shop was Chocolate Tofino, yet another highly regarded food establishment in Tofino, and had witnessed several people leave with highly appetising looking ice-creams. We thought it would be a shame not to try one given that we were so close ...
