      For those who may not know, I am a great lover of Woodstock, the music festival held over 3 days in August 1969. I really believe that those people showed that peace, love and communal care - along with a massive dose of really cool music make for a great world.So, a pilgrimage for me to Bethel Woods (only 90 minutes from NYC) to the site of the concert and the fantastic museum that is now there. ...

      ... the bathroom door. I wondered how a person in a wheelchair would deal with that. There was a small shelf behind the sink and I wondered if a person in a wheel chair would be able to reach it. And the tub was well equipped with bars, but I wondered if a shower stall with a bench would not have been more practical. The whole experience made me very grateful for my abilities and more aware of what a struggle life must be for those with visual or mobility issues.

      It took me only three days to finish Amy Poehler's audio book "Yes Please," (it would have taken me less time but I had stuff to do, what do you want?). Of course it was hilarious and touching and all together relatable, (and I would highly recommend it to everyone), but one thing that really stuck with me was her descriptions of people.
