... we had to spend some time walking around there .. it was a busy place. The park by the ocean was so nice, and very crowded for the holiday but we found a parking space for our big ole' truck and made our way down to the water. This was a rough beach, lots of rocks, strong surf and undertow so no one was in the water but sitting on the rocks and the sea wall was so nice. The Mexican vibe with traditional old American houses was a wonderful mix and where the very first American flag was raised in the late 1800s.
