      ... only! We got the key and crisis was averted. I did buy some cookies if you are wondering. We were uneasy about this practice, having always been free to use a restroom when needed. We continue past Camp Pendleton where we had to merge on to the 5. It seems they do not use the "I" in the interstate road system. They just say the 5 or the 405.       Our friends arrived around 1:30 and with them arrived a spot of sun as well. Now the three children were in the pool, laughing and playing and not worrying so much about the temps, although the pool temp didn’t seem too bad.       ... we had to spend some time walking around there .. it was a busy place. The park by the ocean was so nice, and very crowded for the holiday but we found a parking space for our big ole' truck and made our way down to the water. This was a rough beach, lots of rocks, strong surf and undertow so no one was in the water but sitting on the rocks and the sea wall was so nice.
