Last day in Tofino
Today was our last day in Tofino and I have to say I am very sad to be leaving, I really love everything about this place, its wild, untamed rainforest, beautiful inlets and beach coves and monsterous snow topped mountains....it has everything! Today, Jow was nice enough to lend us his Park pass so we headed to the pacific rim national park which runs the distance from the ucluelet junction, down to Tofino! We walked the rainforest trail loop ...

... 10am so we were never disturbed at night! It is was it says on the door..."budget b&b" but i think its a great little place!
After dinner around 7pm we headed down to what is quickly becoming my favourite little beach, Tonquin and watched the sunset. I love this place, it feels so natural, untamed and undisturbed, I think thats why its so magical here, the beaches and parks are uncomercialised with the touristy shops and tour companies running from Tofino ...

... forest, mountain and lakes, it was awsome!! I was a little click happy with the old camara but it was amazing. The sun was out and the sky was clear blue which helped, so far the weather has been good to us!

As I sit here typing this out at midnight on our last day here (Angie is fast asleep, no doubt dreaming of some shopping trip for local art/fashions/trinkets which I missed) I can’t help but reflect how lucky we are to live on such a diverse planet. Tomorrow we’re off to Kelowna and its going to be a long one day trip to get there. Signing off. Goodbye Tofino and thanks for the memories!!!
