    ... at Blueys, Engagements, Weddings, children and now a wonderful holiday in southern corsica.

    There was much excitement on our approach. The kids would be hanging out with other kids (Thomas & Daisy) and we would be catching up with old friends. It's true what they say about old gloves, or old shoes in this case, they always make for a great fit.

    Our days were filled with epic games of boules, stink boats ...

    ... to cook and clean for us. 6.30pm showered and dressed for dinner, collected our buzzer for the dining queue and ordered a cocktail - I'm still sticking to the margaritas, on the rock with salt rimmed glass. Dined late 9ish, finished 10.30 an went to the kareoke, what a laugh, great night, Kevin sang Danny Boy with the assistance of an English man. A big Mexican man with a guocho and black moustache ...

    The city not only encloses the entire harbour but takes up the better part of the Gulf of Ajaccio, which is the largest gulf in the world.
    Over 65000 population over the entire area. This city is the birthplace of Napoleon in 1769 who became the French Emperor in 1804 and spread Revolution through Europe and in 1811 made Ajaccio the capital in Corsica.

    Sunday 1st August,
    We pulled out of Santa Teresa at 10am and sailed to a protected swimming bay in Corsica.
    Yannick the Captain said he would put the anchor down so we could swim.
    I took photos of Glen hard at work tying us up at the wharf.
    After a beautiful lunch consisting of squid, and scallops with fried rice with a 'divine' tasting sauce and a bean salad. ' oh ...
