      Ajaccio, Corsica was not on our original cruise itinerary, but was added when Holland America decided that it was not safe to make port calls in Egypt and cancelled our stop in Sharm El Sheik.       ... 6 years old so he could do the higher trees. One of his best experiences yet! On our first day in Porto Vecchio we noticed lots of signs for a circus so on our 2nd night in town we took the 2 kids knowing it would be a 'European' circus unlike anything that would be 'allowed' on Australian shores.       ... interesting about settlement of the area, education and agricultral a hievemenfs.
      Cold chicken and salad for dinner. Sitting around an outside table with an American couple from Florida and 18 cyclist from Holland who had done their 200km bike ride for the day.
      Walked home from jen and graham's about 1km up the pitch black road and collapse into bed.

      ... rocks, bushes etc to transverse.
      Of course we were prepared NOT! It had been hot and sunny when we left.
      It was cool, but ok until we got to the lac, 1770 metres above sea level and the breeze was not hot.
      After checking out the shepherds hut, the temperature of the water and the dark clouds we decided to descend.
      I was freezing in my polo shirt and shorts.
