The Loire Valley
Post Paris, we spent a few nights of relaxation before our big rail trip began. We stayed in a log chalet in the Loire Valley near the town of Mezeray. The chalet was on Equestrian grounds and was run by a very nice French man named Benoit.

Day 90: After we finished off the Catacombs and Notre Dame in Paris we finally headed to Rennes, we got hear very late and when we finally got to our hotel we just crashed and went to sleep.

A Legendary Forest
... It was another hiking loop so we left our group again. Along the way we saw the Fairy Lake, the Golden Tree, and hiked up the hill to see the amazing view of the valley. Absolutely beautiful! I was significantly less grumpy by now! All in all we had a good time on our tour. I was disappointed that we did not get to see some if the really neat sites, but at least we got to go into the forest and see a few of them.
