We took the train to Rennes, the current capital of Brittany. It was a bit of a train ride getting there and as we approached the terminus we were a little bit disappointed with what we saw - modern buildings and high rises. Oh well we will just have to make the most of it.

It is cold and wet today ...
... for baguettes, and a party of half a dozen tourists sit down for quiches and salads. Everything is closing for lunch, and everyone is coming to get their meal. Rain and lots of it, managed to finish the rigging all halyards now led aft, but I never seem to finish all the work Ive scheduled for the day.
On another note, this site tells me how many visitors and where they are located, I can understand some interest from the USA but who is looking in from Alaska?
... mainly going up the Villaine but some going along the Canal de Nante a Brest though a great canal you cant actually get to Brest as someone built a barrage, though I think they are trying to rectify the problem, but these things take time.
I am going to try to download some pictures so hold fire and lets see how it goes.
