... amp;b to dry off and change for dinner. We decided it would be best to return to Le Freti, the scene of our first amazing meal in the Haute Savoie. We were treated to another great seat with our fabulous waiter, Toni, from the previous night. He remembered us, and was a riot to chat with all night. Watching him teach a Korean couple how to dip and eat fondue was one of the highlights of my life. He was so gentle and patient, explaining ...
Days 1, 2 and 3. Made it from Geneva to Beaufort. So far we have cycled 181.1km and climbed 2140m over Col des Moises, Col de Cou, Col des Aravis and Col des Saises!!! Phew. Got a few really big days coming up so it's an early night after a huge feast. Love to you all ...

After coming down we passed through some working villages and had lunch on the lake before returning home and dinner in the old ...
Distance: 79km Cumulative distance: 3068km - we've made 3 mega metres! Woohoo! Riding conditions: back roads, mountain passes Weather: clouds, rain Elevation gain: 1660m (from Guidebook) You can ignore everything I said about France being sunny. It's not. It proved me wrong quite spectacularly today. We started the ride early as today is Sunday. Within 1km we were climbing a hill, the guidebook averages out the gradient, so it came out to be 3% for 10km ...
