      It is interesting however to see how relatively cheap skiing is here compared to Australia. A day pass which gives access to a stunning 51 different ski lifts spread over 5 separate mountains costs 35 Euros ( about $A50) a day.       ... Helen and I had a couple of hours skiing while John did some snow shoeing with Charlie. Poor Charlie didn't enjoy this too much which restricted John's outing. It was just minus 5 degrees on the ski slopes so we needed to be rugged up.
