      As we start our cruise down the Seine, our first stop is where we bus to the Jumeines Abbey. We have learned a lot of history of the area including the Vikings conquest of Normandy followed by the ousting of the Vikings by the French to the conquering of England by the Duke of Normandy, William the Conquerer (prior to the conquest, he was known as William the ******* - Billy the ******* to his close friends).       1 oct -Rouen Busy looking around at shops. Lunch at the Vietnam cuisine the unique way of weighing your selection of dish ..       Sydney branch recommended that we visit La Roche Guyon castle, built into the face of a cliff and where Rommel hunkered down during WW2. The place is amazing, unfortunately missing most of its art and furnishings. We climbed to the top and were rewarded by a sky high view of the Seine and surrounding country side.       ... once in while, the best thing about Raphaelle is the way she says things. In the past month or so, she has gotten into a phase where she is very dramatic and sassy whenever she speaks. She raises her voice to a level just below yelling, and every phrase ends with, "Eh!?"
