... got caught in another sharp downpour. It stopped quickly too, and almost immediately the sun was back out. The route has been mostly on designated bike trails or shared pedestrian paths. There are bits on roads, but these are small country ones, with very little traffic. The route is well signposted, however where there is a side trail off to somewhere else, it gets a bit confusing. We rode at least 70 kms today, and are quite pleased with our progress. The weight of ...

The tension was most certainly rising in the Allison camp as we hurriedly set off once again. David was starving and yet again we ended up at Maccas where at least we could take advantage of the wi fi on the ...

... inside and out. This one had lovely views from the gardens of the Loire river. To be completely honest I have gotten all mixed up with which King and Queen lived here but I'm sure thee was a Henry or Louis or someone like that with some numbers after his name. Ok so I went back to my visitors guide and I was half correct, it started off with Charles VIII, then Francois I, then Henry II (I knew there was a Henry) and more Charles, Francois ...
