... decending 6,000+ feet we drove through a prarie like setting and encountered tumbleweeds blowing over the road. At 2:15PM PST we crossed into Oregon with 4,100 miles logged on the trip. Then it was on to Ashland where Shakespeare reigns in the summertime. A very artisy town where Maureen bought four quilt potholders.

So far so good, although my wallet did fall out of my pocket as my bag was going through the X-ray machine, (money still there!) and sunglasses magically fell out of my bag sitting here. Well folks, I got the RV all put back together and I am on the road once again.
I left Ft Bragg, CA this morning (8-25) and headed north to the California redwoods and the Avenue of the Giants Highway. The coast line is still beautiful, even with the fog, and the redwoods are absolutely amazing !!
