... The paths were well defined and not too overgrown. The way markers have improved in the second half of the Trail. We had a couple of showers but nothing major. We arrived at Cashmoor House well before 1oc, so left our boots and bags and caught a bus to Blandford. It only took 20minutes and we were dropped in the town centre. The Morrisons was a good place to stock up with food and we checked the bus times from Cranborne at the Information ...

BBQ gas stoves and table n ...

It became easier for a while on a farm track and was good as it headed northwards along a lovely wooded lane and through a tunnel of trees. It all changed when we crossed the main A354 and pushed our way through a ...

... saw a gate we could have just walked through! We reached the Royal Oak Hotel at 2oc and had a big shandy before being shown to our beautiful big rooms. I was expecting a typical pub single room -- maybe from experiences in Oz -but this is luxurious. We had an early dinner. I had a vegetable curry which was really good and Lilli had barbecued pork ribs which she ...
